About Us

Connecting telugu speaking/liking people living in Utah

TAU was formed to preserve and propagate the Telugu culture and heritage and to maintain the identity of the people of Telugu origin and to provide a forum for Telugu literacy, cultural, educational, social, and charitable interactions among its members

Telugu Association of Utah is a registered non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. 501 (c) (3) status was attained by the Telugu Association of Utah effective 12/11/2009.

Governance

Community runs the association

Governing body and members promote developemnt of by-laws and goals of Organization. Operational body will run daily activities of the organization and they are key to engage community members in various actvities througout the year.

Members, voluteers, businesses, and governing bodies support achieve goals of the association. It's important new members to join the organization and lead organization into the future.

Trustees
Trustees shall look after the fiscal welfare and stability of TAU, make long range planning for TAU and oversee the audits of TAU accounts
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee provides leadership and executes the policies as approved by the General Body, directives provided in the by-laws and Trustees
Patrons
Patrons are individuals who have lead the association and still residing in utah
Members
General members renew membership every year
Student members
Lifetime members are members for life until they are in Utah
